We are pleased to report that during Term 2 our members have increased in both recreational and competitive gymnastics and our reputation as a premium gymnastics club on the Gold Coast is rapidly growing. A big thank you to our community who put their trust and faith in our club and coaches to support your child on their gymnastics journey.

We will also host our annual Halloween Disco later in the term and will share a save the date with you as soon as possible.

Coaches Corner: A message from our Head Coach

Hello everyone! I have now been at Southport Gymnastics for just over 6 months, and have enjoyed getting to know all of the Southport staff, gymnasts and parents.

With a change to the warm up and strength structure throughout the levels, there have already been improvements in the program’s overall quality and performance. This will be a continuous process of improvements to achieve a high standard of skills and basics amongst our gymnasts.

Senior competition season was a success with some wonderful results and athletes making the podium on various events. I now look forward to seeing how our Junior athletes perform in their upcoming competitions and wish them the best of luck.
