Senior Competition Summary
2022 WAG & MAG Senior State Championships - 2 & 3 April
Southport Gymnastics Club had 14 senior gymnasts competing at the 2022 WAG & MAG Senior State Championships at the Sleeman Sports Complex in Chandler in Levels 7, 8 & Future International.
Special mention to the follow gymnastics who placed:
Annie (HPC) - 1st level 7 bars & 3rd All-Around for Level 7 under 12
Diana - 5th floor, 6th All-Around for Level 7 under 12
Well done to everyone who competed. Our Head Coach Teresa gave the following message to all our gymnasts:
“Champions don’t show up to get everything they want, they show up to give everything they have!”
SER Senior Regionals - March 19 & 20, 2022
What a wonderful weekend for our gymnasts at the SER Senior Regionals hosted by 360 Gymnastics Aus.
Our gymnasts placed the following:
Annabel (HPC) - 4th uneven bars Level 7 U13
Sofia - 6th floor Level 8 U14
Madi - 4th vault Level 8 Open
Grace - 5th Beam Level 8 Open
Alana - 4th bars, 3rd beam & 2nd floor Future International

Premier Gymnastics Academy competition - March 5 & 6, 2022
It was an amazing effort from our girls at Day 1 of Premier Gymnastics Academy competition and first senior comp for the year. Level 8 girls Madi, Grace & Sofia and Future international level gymnast Alana did us proud.
A big congratulations to:
Madi - 1st on vault for Level 8
Alana -1st on floor and 2nd beam and bars for Future Level
The Level 7 girls performed fantastically on the final day of competition. A big thank you to all the supporters who came to cheer them on.
